- About Me -

Education

Currently Enrolled as a 2nd year Computer Science student at Johnson County Community College. Most of my skills have been self taught, with experience coming from personal use such as creating and hosting game servers to creating mods to spending time solving challenges on HackerRank.

“Don’t worry if it doesn’t work right. If everything did, you’d be out of a job.” - Mosher’s Law of Software Engineering

Personal

I enjoy spending my free time playing or modifying video games or keeping up with the latest in the tech world. I would consider myself a PC enthusiast, having built my own custom pc, and several systems for friends and family over the years. I never stop learning, as I feel its always important to know the most you can about everything you do.

- Skills -

Languages

Experienced in a wide range of languages to be efficient in every environment with a desire to learn new technologies and become better with current ones. Languages include C#, Java, Html, CSS, SQL, JavaScript, PHP. Softwares and frameworks include .NET, SQL Server, Git, Visual Studio and Eclipse.

Experiences

Hosted several game servers while maintaining both the servers and the websites. Created a few small modifications to Minecraft, a java based sandbox game. Helped a friend with some of his Centriq studies.

- Experience -

Below are some projects that I have either worked on or am still working on. Some projects have had features disabled such as login/registration or forums/posting. They might not be live websites anymore and are thus presented here as examples of work I've done.

Database Driven Application

Community Game Server Website

This project is my first experience using .NET and is a personal WIP project. The project is driven by data collected from a remote game server, sent to and stored in SQL database, then attached to users accounts.

Web 110 Final

One of the very first websites created, we had some guidelines to follow for layout and could only use HTML, CSS and vanilla Javascript. Each student had to pick a topic and present some information about it. Some aspects were restricted per instructor guidelines, such as including certian form elements, one page requiring inline CSS ect.

Startup business Website

A personal project born from a hobby of mine, fixing computers. Initially it was just a friendly thing I would do for friends and family, but more and more people started asking for help, enough to where I decided I could make something from it. So I had the idea to start a small local pc repair shop, and of course needed a website. Created using PHP and mySQL it was a fun project to refresh my knowledge on some rusty topics.

Source Code and Version Control

Version Control with Git

On any major project I prefer using Git for version control, pushing my changes to my remote Github repo. Here you can check out any of my published source code for my projects.
